A few thoughts on voting this fall; There is no such thing anymore as a moderate Democrat. They will all follow Obama, Reid and Pelosi off a cliff if needed. Second, the worst Republican is still better than the best Democrat. Third, only the Republicans can repeal the damage Obama has done and will do if he remains in power. A vote for the Republicans in November will be a vote to restore our country to economic growth and individual freedom. By the time we get to 2012, Obama and the Democrats will have done irreversible damage. Permanent government control over your life, high unemployment, higher taxes than you have ever paid and more government employees and unions will be the order of the day. Already the private sector has lost 8 million jobs while government has grown. Private sector payrolls are at a record low, while government payrolls are at a record high. Folks, it is all about the philosophy of governing this United States. The Republicans are for freedom from Government and the Democrats are for Government control of everything.
We here in Colorado have the best example of how dangerous the Democrats are. Mayor John Hickenlooper made his money as a successful executive. He made payrolls, created jobs and balanced budgets. Overall, he has been a decent mayor and created consensus on many issues. He did finally showed his true colors the other day. While touting his business experience, he said the following: “We believe government can be a catalyst for economic development that brings jobs and helps restore our economy.” This is typical socialist rhetoric, that the government will create jobs, etc. I have bad news for Mr. Hickenlooper; government has never created a single job or industry. It screws up everything it touches, except police, fire and the military.
I repeat, if you don’t want the government telling you how to live your life and you want your private sector job back, vote Republican in November.
